Since incorporation in 1996, Popular Rent A Car has grown from a modest fleet of 7 cars to more than 300, making it one of the leading car rental companies in Singapore! It is no surprise, judging from the High Standard of Customer Service, Focus Towards Excellence, and the Ability to Innovate, that Popular Rent A Car has come to this stage.
As part of our move towards expansion and globalisation, we have undertaken a major facelift to our corporate website, to offer value-added information and services to our customers and business partners.
The urge to create and innovate has brought honour to our current and future developments. We aim to be the FIRST car rental company to flow with the bandwagon of technology to incorporate car rental business to the next era.
Apart from our core business, we are also involved in carsharing, new and used car sales, hire purchase and insurance services. These areas are closely linked to the core competencies of the Company, and we intend to leverage on the services that have been built to further enhance our growth potentials. Achievements

With our vision to be the leader in Customer Service, we are the FIRST car rental company to participate in the On-The-Job-Training Programme (OJT) endorsed by the Standard Productivity and Innovation Board (SPRING). This is a highly recognised programme to enhance and develop a formidable workforce to meet the challenges of increasing job complexity. We are proud to be the FIRST car rental company in Singapore to be awarded the National Model Car Rental Company by the SPRING, to set the service standards for the industry.
